Complaints
We hope that your experience at Rodings Primary School will be a positive one but we are also aware that there may be times when parents and other stakeholders in our community consider a formal complaint as the right course of action.
The difference between a concern and a complaint:
- A concern may be defined as 'an expression of worry or doubt over an issue considered to be important for which reassurances are sought'.
- A complaint may be defined as 'an expression of dissatisfaction, however made, about actions taken or a lack of action'.
It is in everyone's interest that concerns and complaints are resolved at the earliest possible stage. Many issues can be resolved informally, without the need to use the formal stages of the complaint procedure. Rodings Primary School takes concerns seriously and will make every effort to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Complaints can be made by email, by phone or in writing. Below is a copy of our formal complaints form that you can download, complete and email. It is recommended that you read the full complaints policy before completing the form. This is also available below.
In the first instance, complaints should be sent to: office@rodingsprimary.co.uk
They will then be directed to the appropriate member of staff.
