Relationship and Sex Education (RSE)

From 2021, all schools with a primary phase need to provide:

  • Relationship education
  • Health education

Sex education continues to be non-compulsory. Schools in the primary phase aren't required to provide sex education, but the DfE recommends you have a programme in place if you don't have one already. 
At Rodings, we have decided to teach sex education. We use the CWP resources to deliver RSE.
