Sports for Champions Visit

British gymnast, Courtney Tulloch, who is a double Commonwealth gold medallist, came to our school on the 25th of January 2023.  He came representing The Sports for Champions organisation who fundraise for athletes and schools. All the children in the school completed a series of fitness challenges with Courtney which they were sponsored for. Some of the exercises were: mountain climbers, press ups, star jumps and an arm and leg exercise. 

Before the challenge, he did an assembly with the whole school where he demonstrated a front roll, back roll, 3 backflips and also jumped over 3 teachers! The children really enjoyed the afternoon and we raised over £4000- an incredible achievement! Thank you to everyone who sponsored the children.
