Happy Friday!
It's been a brilliant week here at Rodings with the start of our new CREATE units in classrooms, as well as beginning our swimming lessons! As it's sports day today I will keep this as brief as possible, but there are a few important things to make you aware of
Relationship and Sex Education Information Evening
Next Wednesday (15th June) I will be holding an information evening where I will be explaining our Relationship and Sex Education curriculum (for Years 1 to 6). I will be explaining what will be taught in class, showing the resources we use and talking about how you can support at home. The evening will begin at 7:00pm at the school.
Non-uniform day - Friday 17th June 2022
Next Friday will be a non-uniform day, in support of our Summer Fun Day. We are asking for a donation of the following items:
- Goslings and Year 1 - A cake
- Years 2 to 6 - Tombola prizes
Please can these be brought into school on the Friday.
Kiss and Drop
Over the past week we have noticed that some children are being dropped off before 8:30 and left on their own. Children should not be left unattended before the school doors open as this is a safeguarding issue.
