From the desk of Mr Crawley

Here we are again! It's been a busy week with lots of exciting things happening across our school, and even more things happening next week!

I would like to start this week by congratulating our Singing Squad on a truly fantastic performance on Wednesday evening. Everyone who attended was blown away by how well they performed. I would like to thank Miss Raban, Mrs Cook and Miss George for all their hard work and effort this year, and to Miss Wright for stepping in on Wednesday. Without the hard work of the staff, events and opportunities like this wouldn't happen.

If you have been lucky enough to see our allotment then you will have seen how incredible it is looking. Penny and our amazing team of volunteers have done an incredible job so far, and the new flooring has made such a difference. You can help us continue to develop this space by collecting blue tokens in local Tesco stores (see below) as further improvements to benefit the children are made.

Next week will see our UKS2 children perform their end of year production, Shakespeare Rocks! Performances are on Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon. Also, on Wednesday night I am holding a virtual information evening for parents of current Year 4 children, about our upcoming residential to Aylmerton.

Next Friday is our Class Swap morning. Children in current Years R to Year 5 will have the opportunity to spend some time with their class teacher(s) for next year. Also, our end of year reports will be going home next Friday. This year they will be emailed straight to you, rather than printed.

Have a lovely weekend and see you all next week.

School News

Stebbing Primary invited our Ukranian children to join them and other children from the area in a fun day of forest activities which they all thoroughly enjoyed.

A very big thank you to Mr Keil who kindly took the children and collected them at the end of the day. And to Miss Allen who escorted them for the day :-)

Wow! Singing squad you were amazing on Wednesday.  You continue to get better and better.  It was lovely to be back at Rodings to see such a special performance.
