Chelmsford Rotary Club Primary School Choir Competition
Our amazing choir made it through to the Chelmsford Rotary Club School choir competition with the final being held last night at Newhall School in Chelmsford. I was filled with pride as our choir sang their hearts out with such feeling and joy. It was a tough final but our choir represented the school brilliantly. Sadly, they were not the winners of the competition, although the people sitting next to me said they should have been.
Congratulations on such a superb performance and representing Rodings so well. You should be very proud!
Also thank you to Miss George, Miss Raban and Mrs Cooke for supporting the children through the competition. They couldn’t have done it without you!
Introducing…
Over the next couple of weeks we have some new staff joining Rodings that I would like to introduce to you.
This week you may have heard a new voice in the office if you have called in at some point. Ms French has joined the office team and will be working Mondays and Thursdays. She has already made a great impression and I am sure that you will get to know her very quickly.
After Easter we will have three new teachers joining the teaching team.
Mrs Gates and Mrs Marsham will be job sharing Goslings class for the summer term when Mrs Gare leaves at the end of next week. Mrs Gates has already been into school to get to know the children and have a handover with Mrs Gare.
Mrs Coates-Reynolds will also be joining us and will be teaching in a variety of classes to support teacher release time and to provide some small group teaching.
We look forward to working with all the new members of staff over the coming months and for them to get to know you too.
Have a lovely weekend
Mr Raraty
